how to use

1. Substrate preparation

The substrate for application should be dry and clean. Ceramic and concrete substrates require priming before applying roof coating.

2. Before application

Before application, roof paint should be thoroughly mixed to ensure the homogenous colour. The coating should be applied with roller, brush or airbrush in at least 2 coatings applied across – it means that the second layer should be applied in the direction opposite to the first layer.

3. application

In order to make the surface water resistant one should take care of precise coating in each and every layer. On large flat surfaces the roof coating can be spilled out directly from the bucket and spread with roller or brush. If the surface is in bad conditions (for instance the surface is cracked) it is recommended to submerge the reinforcing mesh in the first layer. In order to seal large cracks it is necessary to use the tape which will prevent the roof paint from pouring into the cracks and will additionally reinforce the join.

Packaging
The product is packed and sold in plastic buckets, with 7 liters volume. Buckets should be stored in a dry place in temperature ranging from 0°C to +40°C, best on pallets. Piling up the pallets is forbidden. Disobeying this rule exposes the product to damage and endangers the health and life of people who are nearby.
Guarantee
The product expiry date is maximum 24 months from the production date placed on the bucket. In this time range the producer guarantees fulfilling all product’s characteristics unless the product was properly stored and used according to its purpose.
